Snowboarding Bad Gastein, Austria

The band that was playing in the pub (can't remember the name of it). They were savage.

Mario Rosenstock (GiftGrub on Today FM) doing a live broadcast.

Just before the carnage of the tabogganing, we were "softened up" with some punch. From the left: Will, Colm, Dom, Damien & me.

Throwing shapes. That hat, cool and all as it is, was a drunk/hung-over 50 yoyo investment. Questionable economics, given I'm only going to wear it for one week every year!

Damien and Heff.

Damien and Dom.

Damien (eyes closed), Dom (eyes closed) & Will (eyes closed and stupid grin).

Damien, Dom, Will, myself (the hand-thingy seemed like a snowboarder-type thing to do) & Colm (enjoying my embrace a little too much I notice)

On the road from Queenstown to Christchurch

This is the view from the pews up to the altar of an Anglican church on the edge of a lake (name unknown) in a town (see name of lake) in Maquarie Country. Pretty tiny church.

Nevis Bungy Jump, Queenstown

Check out http://effinjames.bebo.com/ for the video. Needless to say I was cacking myself. Have to admit that I was genuinely afraid that I might lose control of some bodily function on the way down. If you see the video, the point at which I give the thumbs-up, I was supposed to smile at the camera - or at least look that anyway. I wasn't taking my eye off the ridiculously tiny ledge I was about to stand on - the only thing that was going to be keeping me above the creeek 134m below. Doing it was the biggest adrenaline rush - much more so than the sky-dive.
