Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam

I arrived in HCMC on New Year's Eve. Greg and Mauri, the Canadian brother and sister I met in Hue, were playing in an "Ultimate Frisbee" competition (the game isn't as stupid as it sounds) and I went to watch.

This pic below is from outside the War Remenants museum in HCMC. It's a fairly sombre place. Some of the pictures on the wall are absolutely gruesome. In the gournds outside are old captured American armaments - including this chopper.

Greg, Mauri, Pops and myself tucking in to the Chow Mien at a street stall in HCMC.

Inside the Post Office in HCMC. The massive potrait behind me is of Uncle Ho, who else?

The Notre Dame Cathedral in HCMC. It was built by the French in the middle of the 18th century. Very impressice.

This is a trap that was around the Cu Chi tunnels near HCMC. It was covered with leaves and whn anyone stood on it, they would fall about 8 feet on to sharpened bamboo spikes.

Here I am inside the tunnels. They were alot smaller than those at the DMZ. We had to crawl through alot of the way.
