The Alice
Contrary to my last posting, I'm not now staying in Melbourne for a while. To put it bluntly, Tara's thrown a spanner in the works...a pretty nice spanner but a spanner nonetheless. Anyway, I'm starting the long journey back towards the Emerald Isle. I'm in Alice Spring at the moment and am heading on a 3 day tour of Kings Canyon and some piece of stone called Ayer's Boulder or Hill or something along those lines. I'll get a chance to put up some photos from Melbourne and Perth after that.
PS Suitably, and to continue the trend from SE Asia, James Blunt is now playing in the internet cafe. There's no escaping the man.

Well Dougie whats the craic? Hows the auld travelling treating you? Whats the story with those wife beaters of t-shirts,add a beer belly and fishing rod and whammo,Alf Stewart how the fuck are you. Feck all happening in Old Effin Far Away, we had Luzzers 30th on sat nite,i got rat arsed and tucked up in the cot for half one,apparently the festivities went on til four in the morning, Was fighting the rats for two full days after,must have got a bad pint, honestly! The butty fella is home on sat,just in time for champ'ship,he mite still get a geansai.Any way better head off and do some work, not like ye hippy, tree hugging, pot smoking, beer drinking, tax dodging world travellers, yer worse than them feckin students! P.S. Where is your right hand in the Settling in Melbourne pic and if it is where it looks like it is, then how come you didnt get the same reaction as the guy on the far left did? Is the old Dougie charm wearing off?
